Some tips for using the massage ball

1. Use "smooth" and even movements during each massage.
2. Perform the massage carefully, without effort.
3. Avoid holding your breath while massaging or stretching.
4. For the massage, prepare a space that will be large enough and nothing will hinder you during the massage (e.g. children's toys on the floor, a coffee table next to you, flowers...).

Body massage

For the upper back and shoulders, you can also place the therapy ball between the wall and the painful part of the body.

Foot massage

Foot ball massage can be very helpful in treating plantar fasciitis (PF) and other painful foot conditions. Begin the massage in a sitting position (not standing). Place a "prickly" therapy ball on a non-slip surface such as a rug or yoga mat and roll it back and forth under the foot, paying attention to the most painful area of ​​the foot. Recommended application time is 4-6 minutes (but this time can be shortened or extended depending on your pain level). Those who have problems with PF benefit most from morning therapy.

COLD THERAPY

Place the therapy ball in the freezer for 4-6 hours so that the gel inside freezes. The ball will remain cold for approx. 15-20 minutes. If necessary, refreeze the ball. Cold therapy is most helpful in cases where mild to moderate inflammation is present.

WARM THERAPY

Place the therapy ball in very hot water (not boiling) for 7 - 10 minutes. Then very carefully remove the water and check how hot the ball is (only with a light touch). Be careful not to burn yourself! If you feel that the ball is too hot for massage, for contact with the skin, wait a bit for the ball to cool down a bit. The therapy ball stays hot / warm for approx. 10 - 15 minutes. Reheat the ball if necessary.

DO NOT USE OTHER METHODS OF WARMING THE BALL! Conventional ovens, microwave ovens, stoves, or any other ovens and heating sources are not suitable! You can cause the ball to overheat and damage it. Even more dangerous is that you can injure yourself and cause burns by heating up like this.
