Now for the first time I sit for an hour with no discomfort. The mat is excellent quality, made from organic materials and its not lumpy and just the right thickness. In my opinion its well worth the extra money. The only problem I have is my cat now thinks he has been given the greatest bed ever.

I hoped this zabuton would support my legs, knees, hips, and feet without discomfort while I sit on my zafu for Zazen, and it really does. The balance of softness and support is perfect for me. I don't have to change positions any more during my sit to alleviated pain or numbness. When I was younger, I had no problem placing my zafu directly on the floor or rug, but now that I'm older, this has changed. I love the kapok filler, which matches the zafu I've had for decades. The size and shape of this zabuton is excellent as well. It is beautiful, well made, and just what I needed. Very pleased.
